• 1 What is Digital insurance?

  Digital Insurance is a product/service offered in Cyprus. It provides an easy and paperless approach for different insurances. Digital Insurance is provided by Progressive Insurance Company Ltd.

• 2 What if I have difficulty entering my credit/debit card details?

  Make sure you enter your details correctly. If you see an "Invalid card number" message – you should check that you are entering the card number without any spaces. If you see a message "Transaction failed” followed by the reason of not being authorized means your card has been declined by your card issuer, who is responsible for generating the message. You can contact your card issuer for further information. Your card issuer may inform you that they have authorized the payment, but still waiting an authorization code from the merchant. This is known as a referral and cannot be authorized for online payments. In this case, you should try your card again or use a different card.

• 3 How can I check if the transaction was successful and my payment has gone through?

  If your payment has been successful, the webpage automatically displays a message to this effect. This is followed by an email sent to the email address you have registered with, providing the details of your insurance policy. Additionally, you can contact your bank to seek assurance or if you are further concerned, please Contact Us.

• 4 What do I do If I do not receive any Email confirmation or policy documents?

  Your policy is valid from the moment you have successfully completed your online transaction and an email confirmation message is automatically generated. The Email confirmation will be sent to the Email address that you provided in your online application. If you do not receive your email, please check your email’s spam/junk folder. If you cannot find it there please contact us at [email protected].

• 5 How can I check my personal details?

  You can log in to your account and select “Profile” in the “My Account” section, and update your personal details.

• 6 How can I check the status of my insurance claim? Can I make a claim on behalf of someone I know?

  To check the status of your insurance claim you can log in to your account at di.progressiveic.com and go to the ‘Claims’ section in ‘My Account’. You will be able to see the claims submitted and also their status. Alternatively, please Contact Us on 7777-2355 (CELL) or email at [email protected] . Due to the Personal Data Law, you cannot claim on behalf of another individual.

• 7 What is involved in making an insurance claim?

  After submitting your claim via your account, we will contact you for supporting / additional documents.

• 8 If I buy a policy will it renew automatically? How can I stop the automatic renewal?

  All policy contracts are renewed automatically. If you have a policy and want to stop its automatic renewal then you can log in to your account at di.progressiveic.com , click on your policy number and adjust the Auto-renewal option accordingly.

• 9 How do I cancel my Insurance policy?

  To cancel your insurance policy, please log into your account at di.progressiveic.com, double click on the policy you wish to cancel and then click on ‘Request Cancellation’. You then need to select a cancellation reason and then click on ‘Request Cancellation’ to submit your request.

• 10 How do I make a complaint?

  At Progressive Insurance Company Ltd customer service is our number one priority. It is our aim to continuously improve so that we can provide our customers with a fast and quality service. Medical/Employer

• 1 Why should I purchase ‘Medical’ insurance since foreigners are already covered by the Cypriot national healthcare system (GESY/ ΓΕΣΥ)?

  GESY/ ΓΕΣΥ does not offer coverage to all the healthcare aspects, since many medical operations/procedures are not covered. By purchasing our ‘Medical’ insurance for foreigners, you remain carefree as we take on the risk of covering what GESY/ ΓΕΣΥ does not. Furthermore, in case of death GESY/ ΓΕΣΥ does not cover transportation expenses of the deceased/corpse to their country.

• 2 Who is eligible for the Cypriot national healthcare system (GESY/ ΓΕΣΥ)?

• 3 What is the Employers Registration Number (Α.Μ.Ε)?

  The Employers Registration Number concerns employers who are registered with the Department of Social Insurance Services. It should always follow the format below:

• 4 Eligibility for cover (Medical)

  You can purchase this policy provided that:

  a. You are the "Policyholder" which means the person who contracts with the Company for this insurance.
  b. There is a "Person(s) Insured" which means the employee(s), student(s) or visitor(s) for the benefit of whom this insurance is effected.

  "Employee", for the purpose of this Policy, means any person who legally provides full time his/her services for reward directly to the Policyholder, subject to a contract of employment.

  "Student", for the purpose of this Policy, means any person who legally obtained a student visa and attends a recognized college / university in Cyprus.

  "Visitor", for the purpose of this Policy, means any person who legally obtained a visitor’s visa.

Rhodium

• 1 What is Rhodium insurance?

  Rhodium is an innovative insurance product in the Cypriot market, and it covers deductible/excess amounts which the customer is called to pay in case of a motor claim.

• 2 If my car insurance is not insured with Progressive Insurance, can I still purchase Rhodium insurance?

  RHODIUM insurance can be purchased by anyone regardless if someone is an existing customer or not.

• 3Eligibility for cover (Rhodium)

  You can purchase this policy provided that:
  a. you are a permanent resident in the Republic of Cyprus
  b. you are over the age of 18 years old at the time you purchase this policy;
  c. you own the motor vehicle detailed on your certificate schedule;
  

• 4How does Rhodium insurance works in case of a claim?

  In the event of a claim, you will be required to produce (a) official proof of payment of your deductible/excess from your insurance company provider and (b) official proof of your motor vehicle Registration Certificate. Please note we will not cover any claim lower than the initial deductible/excess from your insurance company provider and there was no deduction of it from your insurance company provider.

• 5 My vehicle does not have a registration number yet, can I proceed with the purchase of an insurance policy?

  In order to be able to proceed with the purchase of an insurance policy, it is necessary to have a registration number of a motor vehicle in Cyprus.

• 6Who are the drivers covered under Rhodium?

  All Authorized drivers are covered, provided there is proof of payment of your deductible/excess from your insurance company provider and proof of your motor vehicle Registration Certificate.
